Hello to all of you ...
…and Best Wishes for this new year 2005 ! Here we are back in France after our long journey and we are coming back to “normal life”. Just after our return we have tried to concentrate on the gathering of all donations. And getting all bottles back in Paris took longer time than expected. But we are pretty close now.

The coming months’ activity will be mainly focused on the auction that is bound to take place in Drouot under Thierry de Maigret’s control. For all of you who will not be able to be in Paris then a pre-auction will be set up on Idealwine’s website

A first article has been published in Eco-Tourisme magazine and a second one will come in a coming issue of Ca m’intéresse. And as a conclusion, we are pleased to announce that a second VSF round the globe trip is about to begin. This “Vins des Globes” will depart in the next coming months.

On the road again !!

330 bottles gets- 10 January 2005
After gathering all bottles in Paris and final check : this is quite a lot ! Still some bottles are left in South Africa, so do not hesitate to contact us if you are around Jo’Burg …

From an around the world trip is born Vignes Sans Frontières : A duo wineyard world tour, backpacked, ended in September 2004 through an auction of all the wines gathered for the profit of a charity association named "Partage".

Thierry de Maigret, auctioneer specialised in wines has gladly accepted to organize the auction at Drouot for the beginning of March this year. This will give greater chances to Partage to gather more funds. We warmly thank Thierry de Maigret’s office who is supporting our project.

Jean-Marc Besnier and his whole team has warmly welcome us and made our way to the best wineries.

They have therefore enabled Vignes Sans Frontieres to make a very good harvest of bottles. Many thanks to this active and enthusiastic team, and especially ‘Nani’ Embeita who will activelyu continue to participate to the project and will manage the logisitic.

Olivier Daull from JFHillebrand in Chile offered to completely care of the transport of the bottles toward Europe..

Then Laurent Savard’s intervention with his company “Comptoire des Andes” rue Delambre in Paris, will make the bottles to reach Paris. Thank you very much for this most valuable help and interest for Vignes Sans Frontieres.

They already participate in the adventure :
